Who are they
We all know who are women. Now have a look at their works– washing clothes, washing dishes and all the household chores; if she is doing a job then handling her job too alongside all these works. So, ultimately a woman has to do all the household works and to handle her job as well.
Difficulties of being a woman
Now consider a situation. By any chance if a married woman is busy with her job and if her husband has to cook in the kitchen, then people and the husband would say– what a lucky woman! But, actually is that woman lucky? Yes, the woman should be thankful to her husband in that case, but, we should not consider her lucky. Think about the other angle– when the married woman is doing a job just like her husband, do we say that the husband is lucky? We may at best say that the husband should be thankful to his wife, because she is also helping the family financially. Actually, if a woman can help the family by earning money like her husband, then why can’t a man take responsibility of the household works equally. Why can’t a man work in the kitchen and cook for the whole family just like her wife.
The ultimate role of a woman
In different phases of her life, a woman acquires so many labels; a husband looks at her as a wife, children looks at her as a mother and so on. Her roles and responsibilities change along with the journey of her life. In every step of her life she is associated with a man, and she always has an important role to play in their lives. But, does she get her due in return?
In this world controlled by man, a woman’s wish and desires are never taken into account. Let us look at the lives of widowed or divorced women. If they want to remarry overcoming their grieves, the society would hardly consider her perspective sympathetically.
I don’t understand why people can’t realize the true value of a woman. She is the reason of the creation; the whole world exists because of her, because she is our mother, and a mother should always be revered.
